Ray Rice bows outta the Pro Bowl!

It happens in every sport, players decide not to go to the MLB, NBA, and NFL "all star games" every year. I don't see it as a big deal myself, and to suspend guys is just crazy to me. All the players have to do is claim they are injured and need the time to rest, which is what they will start doing if the NHL continues to pressure them. If a guy claims he is injured and the NHL pressures them, the NHLPA will have a field day.

Yep, but take for example Ray Rice - he chose not to attend the Pro Bowl which is in HAWAII!!!! I'll say it again....HAWAII. WTF Ray???????

I'll be quite frank here. If YOU were Ray Rice, would you really wanna go back out in front of fans and play again after losing a game the week before (one they SHOULD have won) that would have sent them to the Super Bowl? I wouldn't want anything to do with that game even if it IS in Hawaii.

They moved it back to Honolulu, they discovered that if there's one thing the players hate more than a free trip to Hawaii to play in a meaningless game, it's a free trip to New Orleans, Miami, Indianapolis, or wherever else the Super Bowl is held to play in a meaningless game.
