Really ? !! Is this what hobby is coming too..

At least you knew that they were game-worn.

Frank, please don't paint all trading card companies with the same brush.

Hey

I'm waiting for game used ties from the coaches. Especially looking for the coffee stained ones or mustard lol.

Cheers Mike

I made these custom cards about 5 years ago. They aren't game used but they were fun to make.

I guess they are trying to be creative and get something new for collectors to want. I can see player collectors buying these up.

The only jersey cards I enjoy is vintage game used but to be honest I don't even buy those anymore. Right now I am buying pre 1990 OPC a few modern OPC lengend cards a a few new Maple Leaf OPC and young guns cards. I gave up everything GU, auto's etc. 99% vintage opc, topps and parkhurst for me.

Thats what I have been doing lately. Just buying pre 1989 stuff, some stuff for sets and My Roy PC, that I havent touched really since I hit 1000 Different :S

I cant really trust any of the "jersey" cards out there. Even tho it is from a team the player is/was on. How can i be sure it was their jersey, or if it was even game worn? (ITG I trust fully)

As is the motto of the site:

'Collect what you like"

If you don't like then don't add it to your collection, is always good advise, IMO.

I'm indifferent either way on these "Game Used" towels..BTW ;)

Years ago Topps did a towel set for Topps Pristine Basketball. They also had done lace and shoe cards in those releases in 01-02 so nothing new but different is definitely good. The shoe and lace cards I have are some of my favorite cards.

I work for a professional sports teams and there are always people after the game hanging around the benches asking for Gatorade towels. People want them for whatever reason even though you can go buy them at Target for $5.
