I recall reading something about this here at HI, insomuch that there could be problems for the person receiving the payment.

I don't think that Paypal could screw it up, but want to test the masses

Thanks in advance,
Glenn

The only problem w/ receiving a payment via credit card is that you are forced to upgrade to Business Premier Account, and then PayPal will start hitting you with fees for every incoming transaction, regardless of it's source. It also means that using PayPal's new shipping tool costs you pretty much double what it would be for you to walk into the PO. For example, I can ship a card to the US via ExpressPost for less than $12CAD by walking into the local PO. When I tried to ship something last week, I decided to try PayPal shipping, and they were going to charge me $20.77, the supposed rate for "small business" which apparently I am since I sell about 2k worth of cards in a year . Needless to say, I won't be using PayPal for shipping anytime soon. Buncha crock if you ask me...

Hey Rob, that would happen at the post office too if you didn't buy the prepaid envelopes. The prepaid envelopes are meant for documents (paper) only and anything else is supposed to be sent Expresspost Parcel which is what they were charging you online. If you tried using paypal to ship something Expresspost within Canada you would notice a small decrease in what you usually pay most likely...

Thanks guys. Is there a way to find out if I am already a Premier Business Account? I can't believe in all my sales that nobody used a cc paypment, but can't find it noted anywhere?

Thanks,
Glenn
