Recent GU Additions: Flames and Rangers(?)

Here are a few recent Blair Betts GU pieces I have been able to add to my collection. The helmets are my 4th and 5th Betts GU helmets...

This jersey is actually pretty neat. It is a 2004 Hartford Wolf Pack preseason gamer, but it is a recycled 2002-03 Rangers preseason gamer that has a Wolf Pack nameplate sewn over the front Rangers nameplate. If you turn it inside out you can see the Rangers letters...

That is some great additions, I'm keen on getting a GU helmet too... not sure who though.

Im not an expert, but shouldn't they have covered the NHL logo up if it was going to be used on a Wolf Pack jersey?

Helmets are neat, a little tough to figure out how to display them though. I have 3 of mine hanging on a hat rack right now.

I thought it was a little odd that they did not cover up the NHL logo with an AHL logo, but it was just used for a one-off pre-season game I believe.

Very cool additions!! I also have an older pre-season Rangers jersey (mid 90's) of a guy I went to school with (Aivazoff). When you turn it inside out, you can see that it is recycled. From the inside, the name on the back is Lacroix.

As nice as it is to have your players helmets...it hurts to have Calgary Flames stuff...doesn't it I too have a Flames helmet of my favorite player (Bert), and everyone that sees' it can't believe I would stoop so low as to have any Flames items in my house...lol.
