I know, two threads in one day. What has gotten into this guy? Now that it is getting cold here in Dallas again I have been spending more time inside and more time with the collection. I have been working on my website the last month or so, my software now has some pretty cool options for dealing with retina displays on iPhones, iPads and the Macbook, so I have been playing around with that and rescanning cards. So far my collection looks amazing on the retina display!

Here are a few cards that have come in over the last couple months to feed my Dallas Stars obsession, enjoy!

2012-13 Artifacts Treasured Swatches Jersey Patch /36

The patch comes from the bottom of the top point of the star that makes the A in Stars. Pretty cool little patch of you ask me.

2013-14 Artifacts Black Autograph /5

Believe it or not but I think this is Lindros' first autograph in a Dallas Stars uniform. Please correct me if I am wrong so I can add it to the wantlist!

2013-14 Artifacts Emerald Jersey Patch /74

This is the lowest print run card currently in my collection.

I am as hard on Upper Deck as anyone around here, but I have to give them credit for the Dallas cards they have made this year. I hope they keep it up!

And the last card for today's little show is pretty cool:

2010-11 Score ReCollection Collection # B5 /8

I *****ed and moaned the loudest when this set came out about the print run, but I can't deny these are pretty cool cards. I get asked a lot why I have a website, and this card is a great example of why. The person that pulled it googled Lindros cards any my website was one of the first hits. Within a few hours of receiving a picture we had a deal. Pretty awesome and makes all the work worth it.

Now that the collector that tried to buy all the ReCollection cards has stepped away from the hobby and the prices are coming back down I am going to try to get them all. Slowly, but try to get them all.

Well sorry for the long read, thanks for the look!

Always enjoy seeing our latest Lindros pick-ups, and there are some really nice Stars pieces in your thread.
Congrats and thanks for the show.

Amazing show and tell as always. I can't believe you always seem to be able to find multi on all of your swatches.

That auto is a great find, what a force he was with the Generals.

I'm not gonna lie, I LOVE that set of Lindros from 90-91 Score and I think the Recollection autographs by Panini were pure genius.

Lindros will always remain one of the most iconic and mercurial figures in both hockey history and trading card history. He was the guy, the Crosby of his day, when the "new wave" of manufacturers like UD, Score, Pro Set and everyone else hit the scene.

I always paid close attention to him as well because he was traded for the package that included one of my main PC guys. (Peter Forsberg)

Great stuff dude, your posts always make me smile and harken back to some great days of the hobby for me.

Nice haul! Love the Recollection Collection auto.

Panini screwed up those Recollection Collection cards. They should have been /88 instead of 5, no matter what the explanation is. It would have been a $200 card but Lindros fans could easily have gotten one and there would be no more boxes or packs of Score left.

Thanks again everyone!

You took the words right out of my mouth. /88 would have been perfect.
