Recent Mail and Flea Market pick-ups

The lady had a friend from work over today, and I'm not a big fan of her's, so I headed down to the flea market and walked around for a bit. Wasn't much of a selection, but I picked up a few cards worth a smile.

Ok, now the fun flea-market pick-ups.

The greatest mustache in baseball history.

Nobody's better than this guy at hitting fowl balls.

The only reason I bought this is because it made me bust out laughing when I saw it. Anytime I hear his name, all I can think about is him running his junk along the visiting team's catered food spread.

I cannot believe I've never heard of this guy. Not sure you can see it well from the scan, but the kid's name is "Wonderful Terrific Monds."

And, finally. A neat little Reggie Jackson mini card. Can't find any information on it, but it caught my eye and I had to have it.

And, finally. A neat little Reggie Jackson mini card. Can't find any information on it, but it caught my eye and I had to have it.

The Jackson is a 1972 Kellogg's 3D card. The 3D design is quite nice and is a very good pickup.

just to piggy back on plumbob13---those were found in ceral boxes running several years throughout the 1970's...they are sorta neat as they were around long before the sportsflicks of the mid 80's.

Cool, cool. She had a few more, but they were in her "high dollar" lock box. A.k.a. "the over-priced junk" lock box. This one was in the dollar bin, a definite must-have once I saw it.
