Recommend me a set to collect?

I've been on a search for a Mario Auto for my nephew and have gained some interest in finding one for myself.

Since I like to bunch things up, I think I'm going to do a set of something.

Recommend me a set to collect! Here are some preferences:

1. Must be hard signed
2. Set must include: Mario, Gretzky, Crosby
3. Set must have less than 40 cards (this prob knocks out a lot)

Could be auto or auto gu

Aside from Crosby you could go with the Parkhurst Wire autos. They are very nice, hard signed and include pretty much all the big name HOFers. Its under 40 cards as well I believe.

08/09 UD Ultimate auto/jersey's. All Hard Signed and has Lemieux, Gretzky, Crosby, Ovechkin, Brodeur, Roy, Yzerman and a bunch more!! I can definitely get you started with an almost complete set!!

Either that or one of the Stanley Cup signature set, some have 50-51 cards but at least there nubered to 50 so you wont have to shell out major cash for a card thats SSP or something.

Gonna be UD something as Panini doesn't have a Gretzky contract (one day maybe)

I'd say something from the cup or ultimate as you can get just autos or auto/mems.

The Cup - Programme of Excellence

The set is over 40 cards now, but it's a set you could work on every season. Just do the singles instead of duals...
