Red Sox sign Gonzalez!!

I like this move for the Red Sox as it is only a minor league deal and will make Juan Gone stay healthy before he gets a major league money. Having spent more or less the last six seasons on the DL I do hope he can get back to the form he had with Texas back in the mid and late 1990's. All I have to say is a huge big thank you to Juan and hopefully he will last long enough to make a trip into Detroit so I can thank him personally for not signing the ten year 100 million dollar contract Detroit had put on the table for him in the 2000 season. Hm I wonder if he would rethink that one over? At any rate here more about the signing from yahoo.com jason

if he can play his way to the big team and can put up the numbers he used to...great deal for the sox.


if he languishes in the minors...well...still a great deal for the sox as it's not big bucks.

Does anyone know if he reported or not? I was talking with some of the graphing clan yesterday and someone mentioned that Gonzalez did not report to the Red Sox. Does anyone know if this is true or did he pull his hammy walking up to the stadium?

I haven't seen him..we seem to be stockpiling veterans noone wants..Juan Gone/Hee SEOP Choi(He's actualy young though) Dustin Mohr,JT Snow,Enrique Wilson
