Have had my eye on these for a few years and finally decided to pull the trigger, made an offer on the pair and was very surprised/pleased it was accepted.
Josh Unice 2007 Team USA U18 IIHF World Championships
Josh was named Top Goaltender of the tournament and also made the 1st All Star Team. I grabbed it for a couple reasons, Team USA obviously, but he was also drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks. He never made it to the NHL, he decided to go to the Ontario college/university route in Canada and then never played again after finishing school. Still a beautiful jersey, and glad to own it.
Kris Bouchard 2000/01 Team USA U17 Junior National Team
Another player who never really went anywhere after the US team, but I love the style of jerseys from this year. Plus, Kris is from Illinois, and this jersey is absolutely hammered with wear. Game worn jerseys nowadays, even NHL jerseys, show so little wear because they use so many sets. It's crazy how many jerseys they make each season, for the Olympics the mens team wore 7, yes SEVEN different jerseys. :crazy: I love finding jerseys that look like they have been through a war, and this one certainly fits that description.
