Redemption replacement...close enough, but seriously?

I finally received a second set of redemption replacements for my 06-07 Parkhurst auto of Pat Lafontaine and Captains auto of Craig MacTavish. Since I primarily collect retired players, I wasn't pleased with receiving an Anze Kopitar SOTT in exchange for LaFontaine and Nikolai Zherdev and Shane Doan SOTT autos in exchange for the MacTavish. After returning the cards to UD for a new replacement, I waited 3 months, but finally received something in the mail today.

While the sale value of the cards I received is about half of what I paid for the redemptions, overall I'm happy with what I got in return.

2005-06 Ultimate Collection Signatures Jean Beliveau

I've actually wanted that Beliveau autograph for quite some time, so you might be wondering what my title is referring to. In January 2008 I bought a redemption card for the 2005-06 Ultimate Collection Signatures Beliveau. I entered the code online and although the card wasn't expired yet, I got a message that the stock had been depleted. I got a Paul Coffey auto in its place, which I was happy with, but now I know I should have received the card I had actually purchased.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?
 
Can't say that anything like this has happened to me before, but at least you got that Beliveau auto you wanted.
 
Those redemption guys are a wacky, crazy bunch...

If I ever hear of anyone getting a Malkin FW Patch for redemption replacement I will probably go postal.
 
I had a redemption for a Limited Edition Jim Brown UDA Auto Throwback Jersey that I had put in for replaced with a Brett Favre UDA Auto Jersey. About a month earlier a guy got a Jim Brown UDA Auto Throwback Jersey in place of his Randy Moss UDA Auto Jersey....hmmm....I was pissed because I was certain I would get the Brown since it was available to use as a replacement...I just tossed it up on eBay and chalked it up to another reason why I will never buy UD products ever again. I had about $3500 worth of redemdtions in from UD Authentics and was shafted on all of them.
Oh, and the form letter telling me all about the fire and water damage to their warehouses had naturally precluded me from getting any of my nice items...Apparently the Tim Couch, Ron Dayne and Mark Brunell warehouse was spared by the Gods.....
