Some of you may remember a while back during one my 2013 Expo posts that Scooby and Quincy had a card that I wanted badly. It was the latest cup year dual POE auto /5 of Sakic and Clark.
Well UD interrupted my sick day at home with this package and there she is .. first card on the top of the scan.
Now for some cool back story on the other remaining UD redemptions in this scan. I had a Marty Brodeur redemption for a card that was lost by his agent. I picked a handful of players to choose from.
I chose Subban, and any Leafs esp Wendel Clark and whatever other cards UD thought I should get. The CSR rep was surprised at how calm I was about this.
My honest opinion of a redemption is that I get what I get. I have far too much going on in my life to get worked up over a bloody redemption card. Honestly, breaking wax is a gamble and so is the redemption process. I figured I would be calm and nice about it. That logic almost always works in my favor.
So for that no-longer-produced-devil-auto.. I got SUBBAN, GILMOUR/STEEN dual and finally a junior foppa auto card (am I allowed to call Filip that?)
The lander and dual blues was a redemption that I had fulfilled. I had honestly forgotten about them.
Last but not least, another Wendel I picked up at a very reasonable price off another boardie.. and it features my lucky/favorite number 13!
I am happy and that brings an end to my SNT post.
