To all HI members,
All this was a shout out to all of you about which cards are in-house. Many of you have express your concerns about buying redemptions, only to be frustrated that the card might not be produced, or be replaced. In addition, many people wait on the first cards are to be produced, then redeem their cards later.
I am providing assurance to these cards being in-house, thus many of you are confident you will be receiving these cards. Whether you want to communicate that these cards are available to other collectors, you could echo the news to them.
I just feel that it would be a benefit for the collectors to actually hear it from me than to just read it from their redemption's page on our website (which many people do not trust...and I understand the reasons).
Just trying to communicate more with you in the future, a change in our ways.
We as a company understand all of your past frustrations, but let's look to the future. Many of you had and will continue to provide feedback. However, if you feel the need to provide feedback, I feel that it would be more effective stating that on a new thread, than providing the feedback on a thread about the redemptions in house.
This thread was about the cards in house and not about anything else...I'm sure many of you might disagree, and may want to post other thoughts...but let's keep this thread on the redemption news.
By the way ... since many of you are wondering, Chad in charge of taking care of your redemptions. When he told me what he was doing, I volunteered to help, since I know many of you are serious set and player collectors (than just having replacements for everyone), thus I'm trying to reach out to HI members. If you have any concerns, you can PM me but please have patience. I will get back to you but I'm trying to take care of everyone ahead of you. (I will say this.. it is impossible for me to call everyone on every redemption, thus people may receive cards that would not be part of their PC, where the redemptions would have been. However, I have looked at every replacements, and I would say 95-100% of the replacements are more than fair in quality and in value.)
My job at UD is the product manager, which is building the Hockey products. What I'm doing with Chad is above and beyond the call of duty, but I do understand your frustrations, thus trying my hardest in my off hours to make everyone happy. When people in the east coast are getting calls to them at 7-8 AM (which some HI members have received), then you will realize what type of hours Chad and I are putting in.
By all means, I'm not complaining about this extra work, but actually enjoyng the opportunity to talk and meet with you. It feels great too know that I could helping a collectors get another card in their PC with a replacement card. Also this allows you a chance to also provide valuable feedback for future launches.

PS Please do not discuss anything I say in HI on other boards. As I stated earlier you could post on other boards about some of the info I release in HI, but quote yourself that you heard from a rumour or from a trustworthy source. I hope that you could respect my wishes
