This has to be the most one sided, and the worst game I have seen a couple of clowns in zebra suits attempt to ref. The Rangers are getting called for everything, and the thugs in orange are getting away with everything. Is anyone else watching this fiasco? If I'm wearing orange, I would have eyes in the back of my head. As long as 44 in white is still in the game, I would bet money someone in orange is going down hard for the garbage they are pulling.
How does Downie not get tossed after the 3 on 3 fight? He has his head down and gets hit with a clean hip check, then instigates a fight with Tyutin. Did the rule vanish from the rule book that if you instigate a fight while wearing a visor you are tossed? How he didn't get an instigator there is beyond me. And, why is he even wearing a shield to begin with? He's the next coming of Rich Pilon, and that isn't a compliment.
Hartnell punches Jagr in the back of the head, then gives him a stick to the back of the head, no call. Plays goes the other way, Jagr gives Timmonen a shot, Jagr to the box. What a joke.
Then Richards tries to take Drury's head off at the end of the second period. Wow Richards, what a leader you are. Try to decapate big tough guy Chris Drury. I had a lot of respect for the kid and thought he was really turning into a dandy. Instead, he is just another in the long line of gutless cowards the Flyers like to produce. I hate to see a kid with his heart and talent get ruined by the Flyers organization, but it's not the first time, and it won't be the last.
Nice to see Orr completely pound the tar out of Cote. If that's Philly's enforcer, well.
wned: I really hope the Rangers come out int he third, bury Philly early, and exact some well deserved revenge. The Flyers like to go after guys like Tyutin, Drury, etc. I hope Orr, Strudwick, or Avery pummel Briere and Gagne. That's the game Philly plays, no reason for anyone to cry if they get it back. Only problem is, the refs won't let it happen, and the Rangers will not stoop to the Flyers level.
