Regina Show Pickups

Decided to check out the show at the Centre of the Arts because I had some procrastinating to fit into the schedule. Unfortunately, it was at the end of the month, and I don't get paid until tomorrow, so I was a bit short on cash, but I still got some stuff I liked. Nothing for the player collections, but a few things I needed for sets, and some other shiny things.

First off for sets:
Topps Future Phenoms is the first Jersey set I am working on, slowly, like everything else. Picked up Weinhandl and Weiss who I needed, and the orange Bergenheim is an upgrade. Also a Jim Fahey Parkhurst Retro Mini for my set.

Next up, some rookie speculating:
Steve Eminger should be able to bank a few pucks in off Ovechkin, so I picked up a couple cheaper rookies of him.

And some sure things:
A Heatley rookie (MVP, but still) and a Staal Pristine Rookie - nice looking cards in that set.

Shiny things which caught my eye:
Nice swatch on this Hossa/Havlat dual jersey, the Havlat is plaid red. And the Semin/Bure just caught my eye. Maybe one of them will be in the NHL sometime again.

Yeah, it was pretty good. The room seemed full, no empty tables. A bit fuller than the last one I went to, but last year was kind of depressing for hockey. It seemed like a tough day for anyone selling Roughrider stuff - don't think they are realy popular right now.

also attended the regina show, pretty fun, bunch of new dealers there this time.....Regina needs to get more shows and shops here though!
