Unripped versions..

Just reminiscing on the killer overproduction.

Feel free to post some more cards that used to be rare but are now worthless.

Vince and T-Mac? I don't remember their stuff being as rare.. Certainly though AI is starting to become a candidate for a recent rare signer. I'd still call his stuff rare though.

Well, not really that rare, but expensive. Now you can pick up autos of them for pretty cheap.

It's because people are FINALY starting to realize that tmac was signing 5,000 cards a year and they didn't want to pay a whole lot of money like they were before and his market just went down, even though stupid beep beckett still books his stuff high. Basically every rare star player that was a hard signer, Nash, AI, Duncan all are falling into the pit of getting paid to sign onto companies to sign cards, it's all about the MONEY!

They don't realize that some collectors out there would actually love to have their players they collect to hardly sign, so it makes it unique for you to own one of their autographs.

I hope that Dirk never gives in, him and Sheed are the only two raelly really good one's left that haven't fallen in yet.
Sheed has like one skybox auto... And some college autos I believe.

it all depends on how many autos you like having, Oscar Robertson has 6 total autos(1 being a 1/1) and they all sell for a nice price. If you want to have one of each possible cept the 1/1 it takes quite a bit of bank, if he is more overproduced you can get more autos but the flip side is the fact that they are cheaper now. depends on if your a collector or a flipper.

I have a Dirk Autographics from 00-01 Authority (from one of the graded packs, BGS 7.5, meh). From what I've seen on ebay, Dirk autos are not that hard to come by or really that expensive; I was looking to sell but decided I had much more valuble stuff to list at the time.

Well his regular autos Sign of the Times and Autographics don't sell high, but the rarer one's do, like On Location, Autographics /250 /50, Gold Sign of the Times /25

It's because beckett ruins it by saying its only worth 60 bv which is what a lot of people go by, which I don't understand, it alone should be like 80 at least based on his rarity of signing certified auto'd cards...

Anyone who doesnt know that the people who work for beckett are idiots by now, should stop collecting...

Trust me a lot of people don't know that yet apparently, because a lot of people still trade according to BV! And that's where especially kids these days end up paying, because they get ripped off by card shop owners. They can pull a jersey or patch that's books like 60 and sells at like 40 and they shop owner can give him a tmac auto or something that books 100, but only sells for 25 or something, get what i mean? The kid sees it as he's getting a stars autographed card, that BOOKS 100 when his card only BOOKS 60, but his patch card might sell for twice as much as what that tmac would of and the kid doesn't know that...

All the card shops in my area sell for over bv price. Like a billups auto that books at $15 they will be selling for like $25. When I ask why they will say something like, well all cards sell for over there beckett value. That is when I usually laugh and walk out.

Yeah some people are just idiots with that stuff. We have this monthly flea market and some person there sells cards and he had a nice Tmac auto, that booked like 80(According to beckett;) ) Anyways I asked how much he wanted for it and he said 80! And I was like why? And he was like because beckett says its worth that much, and I said something like well I guess I can go pick it up on ebay for 24 because that's how much they say it's worth lol
