Report- Quentin Richardson traded to Knicks

I say good trade for the Suns. They get more depth in the frontcourt. Suns can now start Nash, Johnson (if re-signed), Marion, Thomas, Stoudemire, with Jimmy Jackson off the bench. Marion basically played power forward most of the year, and this enables him to move to small forward where in my opinion he is better suited. Plus they get a future first rounder out of it. The Suns played small for most of the year, this trade would enable them to play two types of games. They can go small and bring in Jim Jackson and shift Marion to PF, much like last season, or they can have in Thomas and go a little larger.
 
Yeah good trade for the Suns. They get a big guy who plays some decent defense and can hit the outside jumper, and like zagrid said they can move Marion back to his natural position. Besides, Richardson wasn't a big part of the Suns' success and totally ****ed during the playoffs. It seems like the Knicks have a thing for overpaid SF's/SG's. =)
 
wtf! why would they be making trades anyway? they made it to the west finals and i dont think kurt thomas is going to put them over the edge to beat the spurs. if the suns do this trade, looks like im a knicks fan.
 
Q-rich, nothing wrong with being a knicks fan!!! Sionce those 2 teams are my favorites, im happy because Marbury needs help. The only guy he could pass it to was crawford and he would always throw it up anywhere he was and he missed it most of the time. But now with Q-Rich on there, the knicks will be better. now they just need another big man. I think they lost out when they traded Nazr. He was always so energetic and gave it his everything. i hated to see him go. And i dont really see much KT can do on the suns because amare is already there. And Marion and amare does all the rebounding already. But all in all, its a good trade for both teams. And congrats on becoming a knicks fan q-rich03!
 
Qrich jacks up threes with reckless abandon as well. They talked about the Knicks getting Antoine Walker too..With Toine/Crawford and Qrich the Knicks might set a record with three pointers attempted.
 
Toine and Q would not be a good combo lol. Q shoots a lot of three's, but he doesn't shoot more than the average player of his skill does.

Actually, he led the league with 8 3FGA/game. Him & Walker would make a great combo indeed: their FG% sux and they have their own 3 point contest every night.
 
I didn't mean only 3 point attempts. I meant overall FG attempts. Also, Q's FG% is not the greatest, but he's still around the % of Ray Allen.
