Reporting A Hobby Shop Break In

Just wanted to advise everyone that unfortunately, one of the great local shops in Trenton, Ontario - J&B Book Exchange was robbed last night. The perpetrator made off with several thousand dollars worth of high end singles, including a Patrick Kane FW Patch Auto/100 with a nice patch, a Jonathan Toews FW Patch Auto with a nice patch, a Tomas Vanek FW Patch Auto with a nice patch, a Paul Stastny FW Patch Auto with a white patch, an Ed Northcutt 1936-37 RC, and many other nice cards. I have a photo of the Kane FW because I sold it to Bob a few weeks back.
It is # 98/100.

That sucks big time, I wonder how often stuff like this happens and the word doesn't get spread around. Nice that you have a scan of at least one of the cards so that we can keep an eye out, keep us updated.

That is a bummer. Two shops in my area were hit about a week ago and the thief made off with a ton of nice cards, including some vintage that is not replaceable. Mostly baseball and football.

We should all keep an eye out on Ebay as well. You never know how stupid these thieves can be. Hopefully that Kane turns up somewhere

I was thinking of using the old "multiply it by the square root of an isoceles triangle", but I didn't want to wear that one out

Really sad to hear. The good thing with the #'d cards is that in situations like these, they can be traced/tracked. Imagine when a YGs rookie or something is stolen (which I'm sure there were from that shop) - impossible to trace whose card that was originally.
Well lets hope for the best anyway.
