Any of us who watch or follow baseball are quite aware of Rick Ankiel and his struggles on the mound in the play-offs. We also are aware of his come back attempts as a outfielder. He will be having surgery on left knee and will be out the season. I saw Rick pitch back in 1998 (I believe--I am old memory going) at a game in Ft. Wayne when the Peoria Chiefs were there.
