This time with a concussion. Poor guy. Now I just feel sorry for the guy.

helenenothelen Helene Elliott
Isles G DiPietro out indefinitely w/concussion.

He should get a permanent room in the hospital next to Tim Connolly!!!

HAHAHA this made me laugh..I called it, once he was traded to the Leafs I knew he would be out sooner rather then later...I'm just waiting for Erik Cole to break something in the next few weeks and all the band-aid players will have met my expectations. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Yeah I knew Tim Conolly was going too be injury prone, but let's not jump too conclusions, he may be the right guy too play with Kessel, and if not or if he's really useless, the Leafs trade him or buy him out the final year, So I really like the contract Brian Burke gave him.

As for Rick, you have too feel sorry for him, getting constantly injured like that gets you super depressed. But then again a portion of 4.5 million a year for doing nothing would counter that depression too a certain degree.

Hemsky hurt his shoulder last night, he's gone too.

There's a few more (Colaiacovo, Graborik, etc) who are probably up next.

I doubt he retires and forfeits the $4.5M for the next 9 years.

This song and dance will continue.

Through Article 23.4 it seems as though he would receive the balance of the contract whether or not he retires because the injuries he has sustained have come from the game.

Regardless I would not be surprised if he kept trying to come back, I hope, for his long term post career health, that he doesn't though.

Ah well,, it is time for Montoya to shine!!! I do feel bad for the guy though. At least when he does retire he can do it comfortably with all that cash.

I am so pleased to hear DiPietro is out indefinitely w/concussion. I believe he's going to be fine, healing and cashing those ridiculous cheques for visiting doctors. He's the riches man made of glass that can't stop a beach ball, yet alone a puck. I hope he's injured the remainder of his contract or at least this year and the Isles may have an opportunity to get to the Play Offs.

Fortunately, Montoya has played extremely well. In his last 23 starts going back to last year, he's 11-6-0-5 with a 937 SV%. He's earned the number #1 spot. I predict Montoya's RC's will increase significantly this year.
