Hm I have been hearing on more then one occasion now that Ricky Williams could play football north of the border. Looks like Toronto Argonauts are looking into the possibilty of getting him to play. I guess what I don't understand at this point is do the Dolphins still hold his contract and do they have to allow him to play should this proceed further? What would happen if Ricky got hurt? Hm do they have a drug test in the CFL? I don't know but I like watching the CFL for some odd reason so would probably tune in when Toronto played to see how he does, for some reason I don't think it will happen though.

Ricky Williams is on the Argonauts negotiating list. Although there is not formal drug testing requirements in the CFL, the team has stated that this would be mandatory and in Williams contract if he did sign. I want to know how they plan on getting him up here with his history of substance problems.

I believe Toronto still has to work it out with Miami, since Miami still holds his rights, Miami does not have to allow him to play. I may be totally wrong here but that is the way I understand it. If Miami gives the ok then he can play for Toronto.

It's official!!
Ricky Williams is a Toronto Argonaut!!

I can safely say I'll be goin to an Argo game this year.
Might even have to make a "Run Ricky Run North" Sign :D

He was at the jays game today,
all clean shaven, looks weird, been so long since he's looked 'normal'

Somewhere a pot calls a kettle black, and then laughs at a fart joke, and eats some doritos.

If Onterio makes it,
he came to camp so outta shape.

QUincy Carter has already been cut from the Alouettes.

Didnt quincy have a drug problem way back when, maybe they can get a new franchise with all the failed NFL drug users/abusers and let them mentor each other.

Him and Onterio Smith can now hang out, smoke a little crack and remember the good ole NFL days

LOL..... Just as long as they can take turns passing it around.

Wouldnt it be something if he got hooked on the CFL
I'm guessing they dont have a drug policy??

I might. He can light one up before the game, then at halftime and after the game.

Not sure if they have a policy or not.

I believe there's a roid policy but no drug policy.

carter did have drug problems ( I think) but his cut was performance based.

There is no set policy in the CFL, but word was one of the stipulations of signing with the Argos was that he will be subject to testing by the team.

And apparently he's going to be still tested by the NFL, 10 times a month I believe.
That's a lot of testing.

the odd thing is THC stays in your system 28 days. 10 times seems excessive. Cocaine stays in 2 days--wonder if he was smoking more than weed

He continues to claim it was a false positive.

And it seems widely accepted that the positive result wasn't for Mary Jane.
