Hey all, I'm not sure if I'm the first to notice this or if has come up in conversation about other players cards. In the 11-12 Dominion Mammoth Patch /25 set. I've been watching the Despres listings and found something strange. See the pictures below.

Now, last time I checked, Despres did not have an "N" or and "M" (or "W" if it's upside down).

Now I have seen some that look right...

These can both pass as part of the nameplate. Although the sizing of the letters are different. (But at least they are the right letters, lol)

Let me know what you think.
Should Panini be contacted and made aware of this?

Rookie photo shoot jerseys have all kinds of lettering all over them, provided by the companies so that they have a ton of patches to use for cards all season. Until they have gamers, this is pretty much all they can do to produce memorabilia cards of these kids.

This is correct - at some point there was a thread with another rookies jersey shown and it had all sorts of lettering on it. Name, Team, etc.

Is an example posted by user = great1 of an 2008 Pens photo shoot jersey.

(Edit, or just look at the pic in the post above mine)

I have never seen that jersey (or any like it) before. That's pretty loaded with letters. Thanks guys for the help!! Much appreciated.

Only way of being able to produce patch cards without having to have the player get annoyed having to put on 50 jerseys to make enough patches to meet card demands

Gotta love rookie photoshoot jerseys. In essence, they are no better than manufactured patches.

They wear it for 10 seconds and suddenly all these random patches are much more valuable.
