Ridiculous!!!!

i got suspended on "the other site" for "advertising a website....all i was actaully doing was trying to let people listen to a type of music i appreciate, and that i wanted to share with the board members... after about 5 minutes, it got pulled...like not there anymore

then, i made a new thread asking why it was removed and asking what i had done wrong....got no response except for another removed thread...

by now im kinda in the dark, and am getting pretty aggrevated, so i make a new 3rd thread entitled "why cant i post?...this is my 3rd thread"

within a minute this one is deleted...meanwhile, i have yet to get e response from teh mod who keeps on doing this to my threads....

so i attempt another thread, and a window pops up and says....your a suspended from this site for a day...WTF!!!!

ridiculous....can anyone give me any advice or anything to say?

I'd take the 1 day suspension and let it go. Beckett has there rules and as strict as they may be they are enforced with suspensions. I think they have stated many times not to link other sites unless it was card related (ebay and such) and if you do suspensions are in order.
I know if you link HI over there in any way you'll get hit with a suspension. I don't think it's personal but rules are rules. I'd let it roll off your back and don't let it get to you. You were just expressing what you liked and there's nothing wrong with that but beckett is doing what they do so you move on..

thanks for the posts...but here is some new breaking news on the topic...

i got an email from a mod saying that is was spamming the boards up with my posts...

i thought the term "spam" meant selling somehting? doesnt it? If it does, then i wasnt spamming anythign at all...

That is a bit odd! I'd just plead your case with the mod and let him know you didn't intend to "spam" just sharing your taste in music. The suspension will probably stand pat but at least you'll get your point across...

I think he ment by spamming making more than the 3 allowed new threads a day. It does say there is a max of 3. Or he could mean your spamming the other site by bringing visitors to it. Either way technically you broke a rule. It ****s yes but its only a day. You'll be back tommorow I'm sure...
