In the past the Black Diamond wjc cards (Thornton, Lecavalier, Luongo, etc.) were and are considered RC's. Now the rule is a guy has to play in the NHL before he can have a card as well as debut prior to the All-Star game that season.
Then there's this Jaden Schwartz kid in St. Louis. Just called called up a few days ago, scored a goal in his first game, and as of the end of the 2nd period tonight has scored again. Soooo we have this here:

What's this considered now? His true RC or a gimmick? Think his YG, Cup, etc. will be his RC or will people pay a premium for this? Still technically part of a "set" although it's a multi-sporter.
Hmph. Looks to me like UD's attempt to get around the "rule".
