Round 2: Spurs vs. Hornets Thread!

4th quarter? It's been the 3rd quarter of every game in New Orleans so far. Either Popp's halftime speech is horrible, or Byron Scott gives one unbelievable one. Spurs looked in control until the 3rd and then blew it.

Gotta stand tough at home now...
 
Didn't get home til the middle of the 4th quarter, and they seemed to be tearing it up when i started watching in the middle of the 4th.


He must of given a great speech, remember Chris COACH OF THE YEAR!!!
 
What the hell happened today? I thought I'd come home and rub the loss into Chris's face, but no I gotta come home and see that the Spurs evened up the series!!

This series has been crazy. Hornets win by double digits at home, and the Spurs return the favor. Hopefully Game 7 is actually competitive. And the Hornets are lucky the NBA has such an idiotic schedule. With West getting hurt last night, he has the whole weekend to recover. And he's been their second best player behind Paul at home for them.
 
Unlike most I still have the Spurs picked to win the title. I thought it at the beginning of the season, thought it at the beginning of the playoffs and I still belive it today. I wanted the Sund to win but I really knew it wouldn't happen. I was not suprised to see the Spurs blow them out last night....can the young Hornets handle the pressure of a game 7, we all know the Spurs can.
 
C'mon...last year was dirty. This year was just a hard screen. And West is a lot bigger than little ol' Nash.
 
Spurs have been known for this for years. Horry & Bowen are well known for their cheap shots, especially when they assume no one is looking. Bowen is the master of kicking his rivals between the legs (see Nash, Iverson, Kidd, DWade etc...etc..). The Spurs play like bullies with hopes of intimidation. They beat the hell out of the Suns last year and it had positive results against them for last year and this year.

The current Pistons play a similar game (just like the bad boyz). They bully and push the limits physically as far as they possibley can.
 
Ah I am going to miss this game, I saw a thing on ESPN first take where they took a 3 day poll out of which states think who will win the game tonight, and guess what the ONLY STATE that had the Majority voting for Spurs was of course Texas! The 49 OTHER states all said NO would win!!
 
Okay wow really wasn't expecting this, oh yeah I really was, Spurs have way too much playoff and title games under their belt and I knew they would take this one, either way the Lakers will be their real challenge, and I don't see the Spurs advancing past the Lakers!
