ROY favorite?

Look at Landeskog's +/- compared to the rest of the team........

How does he NOT win?

I think Landeskog is the guy right now, second in rookie points by only 1 point, and that +21 on the Av's is very impressive. I think Henrique is second, and Read is third. RNH was the guy early but injury hurt him and you can't base the vote on the unknown of what he might have done if healthy.

RNH should not and will not be in the debate; due to injury.....

Henrique, Landeskog and Read make the most sense.

RNH would have likely won the award has would have Hall last year....but....same story.

i'd go with Landeskog then Henrique. would've easily been RNH if he didn't get injured cause he was at a point per game before the injury, has slowed down a little since then.

I'm a bit biased but I don't know how henrique can't be considered the favorite right now. Landeskog is making a strong case and may overtake him but henrique has been solid in all facets, pp, pk and even strength.

#1-Henrique

REASON: He has had great chemistry with Parise and Kovy. I don't see how he can be beaten. He started out the season, got sent back down, and then back up, and has stayed since then.

#2-Landeskog

The more I look at it the more I believe it's Landeskog and it's not close. Why? He plays on a subpar team (they are -7 in GF/GA) and has a +21 rating. That's crazy for a rookie! He's also tied for the rookie lead in goals with 18.

And Janusz, Henrique being sent down is not a plus. It tells me he wasn't consistent all year

Henrique was sent down in the first week of the season, and since his recall he's been the most consistent player. All rookies go through learning stretch's. Adam's right at the beginning of the season.

Don't get me wrong Lucas, I like Henrique a lot. He's a very good young player. I just think Landeskog has the numbers. That +21 rating on a below average team really stands out
