Not sure if anyone watched last night I just watched the Rumble itself, not bad but not great either. Great to see Kevin Nash back for one night, the crowd was going nuts for him. any one else see it

Yeah it was an all right Rumble. It was a weird one though. Good to see Nash (as Diesel) and Booker T back. Too bad Santino didn't take it at the end.

Yeah...we decided to order it this year, and marked the f out (at least I did) when Booker showed up more than Nash coming back out as Diesel, though...come on...Nash pulling out the GLOVE OF DOOM and putting it back on was one of the best things last night. I wonder if they just brought Nash back into the mix to help induct Shawn into the Hall of Fame. Still though...the fact that he went and got back in fairly decent shape and dyed his hair and such for the match was pretty sweet.
I hear Booker will be on RAW tonight too. While I don't watch wrestling nowadays (thanks to Bebop, the only reason I knew who Alberto Del Rio was is that he told me it was Dos Caras Jr. who I knew from eating Crocop's foot in PRIDE)
The Santino thing at the end...seriously...made me a believer. I hadn't been fooled into thinking a career midcarder had a chance like that since the infamous Taka Michinoku/Triple H RAW title match about 11 years ago. Of course, I was a tad more skeptical with that match because I had serious doubts Trips would lay down for anybody that wasn't Shawn Michaels, Chyna, or Stephanie...but a bit of you just hoped

The WWE is in SERIOUS trouble finding main event guys. Alberto Del Rio is pretty good, but I'd never peg him for the main event at WrestleMania. The only ones they have are Orton, Cena, Edge, 'Taker, Punk and Kane (maybe Mysterio). The "next ones" might be Sheamus, Barrett, Kingston and a small list of others, but guys like The Miz? Gimme a break...I said the same thing about Swagger being champion. Where is he now?
They're not developing characters as they should or as they used to. Now it's mid carders being billed as top stars. Rumble was pretty good, but Del Rio winning it was a joke.

Ended up checking it out. I don't see many WWE PPV's anymore. The only two I saw last year were Rumble and Summerslam. Overall wasn't bad. I watched it at a sports bar with a buddy and everyone there seemed to more or less enjoy it. Del Rio winning the rumble wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Just happy to see someone who wasn't Orton or Cena win it.

Taka vs Triple H! Honestly one of my favourite matches ever. Taka had a long two count and for a split second there, I thought it could happen. Thanks for the reminder!
The Fed is certainly hurting for Main Eventers, although I do like what they've done with The Miz. I'd love to see Christian get a big push, but I don't think Vince sees him as more than a mid-carder.
On the plus side, if you're looking for different wrestlers getting title shots, Jerry The King Lawler is your new #1 contender.

I am sick of seeing the same matches week ene week out, it is old now. Time to start pushing guys like John Morson this guy is the future and they keep holding him back.
