My first player collection that I hope to achieve 100%
Got a good start with a Beckett lot purchase. Also hit a couple on eBay.
Then had good luck posting on HockeyDB. A guy emailed me immediately and offered up a few others.
Wheeling and dealing all over the place has left me 1 piece short.
Then too much time on my hands led me to put this together:

I watched him play this year. Gritty, period. Brings the effort every shift! Real worker in front of the net.
Then again, I guess I'll never collect the next "greatest phenom" 100pt scorer, though.
Hatzos inspired me with his Fedotenko and Afanasenkov collections. Two players that I also enjoy watching with the Lightning, but who will never really turn the collecting world on its ear.

Very nice collection so far, got to watch him with the Wheat Kings for a few years. I might have the Wheaties card you need, but unfortunatley it's in a set

DOH!!
Well, thats the closest I've been to one of them so far...
The Wheatking's website has sets from that year available...$6.00...I'm keeping that idea as a last resort, though.
PLMK if you come across one in your travels.

Very cool, nice job It is always neat to start collecting a player in the very beginning of their career, makes it easier to find the minor league issues, which are buggers to track down.
