scanning booklets?

If I want to sell some of my NT Treasure Chest booklets, how do I put them on sale? Is it safe to open them up and just put the booklet on the scanner or should I just take a picture of it with my phone?

I did a phone picture. I don't think either would be wrong.

Tough call, I prefer the picture just because I don't want to chance damaging the card, but we all know cam pics don't look as good. So, I'm really no help at all I guess lol

As long as your scanner has a hinge that can elevate and close you will be fine. Thats how I scanned my Treasure chest depicted below, and not one bit of damage to it:
