So I just looked more closely at a card I recently bought on eBay, and now see that the card has a number of scratches which were not apparent from the scan. I stupidly already left feedback before checking the card, and have now emailed the seller to let them know I'm not happy about this. What would you expect would be a reasonable reply from this seller? Do I have any remedy available, given that I've already left feedback? What would you do?

You've given the seller an option out so I might be a write off. You can try to complain to ebay if the guy doesn't respond but really,I'd chaulk it up to expirence

Best of luck

I've done this a few times as a buyer. Left feedback, as that is my way of tracking what has come in, only to realize later there was damage on the card. To be honest, I just moved on. I had a scan to look at, I had the card in my hand to look at, and still left positive feedback. Now, I come complaining about an issue? Seems a little late. At card shows after you bought and leave, you can't come back the next day asking for a refund.

I once won an auction and the card was here in two days (Xpresspost).
I left feedback (+) for great service but I was unhappy with the card.
I e-mailed the seller and after a few exchanges, not going anywhere, I filed a "not as described" claim with paypal.
