Not super annoyed just found it odd. I won an auction that the seller said would be sent through express post as it ended over $75.00. I am fine with this as it was stated in the auction but when I checked the it shows up as an expedited parcel and will take just over a week to arrive. I was charged $15 US for shipping.

Anyone had a similar experience?

Depends where it was shipped from, sometimes if I want to express ship to Quebec it costs me close to $20, but I list the Express for $15 and just eat it if it's a card that sold for $100+. Have thought about going the cheaper route, but didn't want to get dinged on the feedback. Leave him a negative lol jk

depending on the sellers amount of experience , he may not be aware of all the different types of service ... it can be confusing or as stated depending on the locations he may have gotten sticker shock at the counter and asked for the cheaper option ... you could just ask him

Yeah I would ask. I leave myself some options with how I word it in mine:

"Any auction or multiple auction wins that total $200 or more must be shipped with insurance. $10 to Canada, $15 to USA and $50 International."

Sending a small package with tracking and signature is cheaper then sending a #000 mailer for some reason.

I never use express post i think its a major fraud, i always use registered mail for single cards in Canada.

Seller's options or different costs depending on where you live within Canada are Expedited, Registered and Xpresspost with different rates depending within WHAT Regional / National boundaries you live in with incoming Canada Post Mail!
