It has been a long, winding road. Two years ago, ITG released Superlative 2, featuring a couple of sets based around 500 Goal Scorers. I gradually got drawn into building the set, and gradually my list has winnowed its way down. To one. One last, lonely card. Marcel Dionne. Just him. And I looked. And looked. The only Dionne stick I'd EVER seen was a show stamped 1/1 from 2010 Fall Expo:

And then last weekend, I get a series of PMs from OneGoal2010/Tony that the Dionne had surfaced in a group break. Tony did all the legwork runnin' this sucka down, all for my benefit:

So here is my now officially complete set of ITG Superlative 2 500 Goal Sticks:

The set is now complete, and contains 13 gold 1/1s.

I would speculate that there is at most one other set.
