Sharing a personal Memorabilia story

After many years working at a particular school as a teacher and administrator I am moving onto another position. At a ceremony today ,I was given two Authentic Islander jerseys. An orange alternate signed by former Islander Dave Scatchard and a Home White with an inscription by legendary Bobby Nystrom. Both were my favorites when they played on the Island.A very nice surprise for me.

Although Ranger fans would never have seen that side of him Bobby is a kind and generous person. Although he often shared lefts and rights with Ranger players.

'bout one of the coolest things I've seen all year, Ewen. Congrats on some nice personal items, but even more so for what they represent in the eyes of your friends and associates. Very nice, indeed.

Dan, Justin, Dave et al. I spent 12 years at the school and was fortunate to work with a great staff. They really surprised me today.

Ewen, my mother is a first grade teacher so I know firsthand that the staff-administration relationship is not always great. Luckily she has always had good principals and I'm glad that you have had that kind of relationship with your staff. I consider elementary and middle school education to be harder jobs than playing goalie for the St. Louis Blues!!

Brian - Although it would be nice to move to Edmonton, we want to stay in Edson until are kids are finished school. No just moving to another school within the town. Dual track, more staff, more headaches.
