Moore is a good player - i think he will be excellent in the playoffs. considering what Grossman cost PHI, this is a steal for SJ.

Funny thing is Moore seems to always get traded for a second rounder.

He was part of the 'best 3rd line in the game' with Ortmeier and Betts a few years back. He reminds me a lot of a mic between another former ranger PA Parenteau and a current ranger Callahan, except he has a more defensive side while PA and Ryan have the offensive side.

He is consistent night in and night out, and will make you wonder how he hasnt scored more with his speedy style of play. He will not disappoint.

EDIT: a second rounder seems about right for him alone, the lightning must have really wanted to get rid of him to give up the 7th...

It appears as though he's been traded for a 2nd round pick three times, and a 3rd round pick once.
