Just saw it was released officially and updated on their website

I hope my Kings never do anything silly and cartoonsih like this. I like the old version much better. Just my opinion.

What do you guys think?

Nothing wrong with that logo. I've seen worse. Captain Highliner leaps to mind. For that matter, so does that ridiculous little King of Diamonds that appears on some Kings jerseys.

I actually like it.. Not a huge fan of the new letter font, but the logo itself seems a bit sharper and more mean. Could have been much worse...

Oh no doubt it could have been worse, just curious who liked this one better than the old one?

Two things I do like about this logo are the tail of the Shark coming down behind the Shark and the color of the eyes.

I fear some other teams will try too hard and make major mistakes with upcoming jerseys.

I personally love Washingtons new look.

King of Diamonds? Haven't seen that one?

I think I'm in agreement about liking the old one better. This one has a darker feel to it and reminds me of the animation in some of the later Batman cartoons. Don't get me wrong, the new logo isn't bad, definitely not near the class of the Islanders' "Gordon Fisherman" logo.

Great artwork but seems a bit too much for an NHL jersey. Seems more appropriate for a minor league jersey since they usually have the flashier logos. I think I could get used to seeing it on the ice, since I already like the artwork standalone. I'll keep my avatar as it is so I can say it's retro.

If anything, I wanted them to change the rest of the jersey and not the logo. I always wished the teal was a little (just a little) closer to blue than to green. Plus I wanted them to go back to more traditional stripes, shapes, etc.

Oh, the "Buger King" jersey, LOL, yeah I remember that. I actaully liked that one, but I am biased!

I never forgot that one, sorry, the Kings fans and game worn guys call it the "Burger King" jersey so I got confused!

How could I forget it?

I dunno, I just loved the numbering and lettering on it and the logo. I could do without the strips but I liked the jersey.

Sorry, but I like the old one. This new "animation" reminds me of something out of indoor lacrosse or world football league.
