i agree with Kj, sheffield was provoked and didnt start the altercation, he has a right to defend himself againt an agressive and stupid fan

I need to see another replay, but I am pretty sure Sheffield DIDN'T hit the fan. Totally classless act by the Red Sox fans. The fans need to stay out of the game. Sheffield should not be suspended, he did better than most other players would have in the given situation.
