Hello hobby friends and colleagues.
What do you guys prefer, Game Used Shields or The Cup Property Ofs.
Rookie Shields count in this poll also cause those are usually Photo Shoot and some people don’t like them in the same category of Game Used Shields.
I have always wondered what everyone would prefer in their collection. I personally think that Property Ofs are underrated, and there seems to be much less of them than Shield cards.
 
I'm big on stick cards sooo... you can guess what I picked. "Shields" aren't unique to hockey. NFL has shields. NBA has logomen. But sticks... baseball has bats I guess but it ain't the same since some of their stars don't even use a bat.
 
Always dug the look of shield cards..... :D

None of that unless it’s super vintage like Terry’s PO cards. I’d prefer hem tags and set tags and the like from vintage jerseys. Think Gretzky Nike hem tag. Shields are a dime a dozen, these guys wear so many damn jerseys these days it’s not very exciting. And the sticks are hundreds per year for a guy like Crosby and Ovie, ample amounts to make endless cards like those. Go find me a nice Vezina stick card please.
 
Property Of for sure. Shields are cool but they all can look the same. With Property Of they are all personalized making them way more unique.
 
Property Of are much rarer imo. Design wise, I am a bigger fan of patches/emblems than sticks. However, if was given the choice of either at the same price, I would choose the Property Of.
