Random question here, hoping someone can give me clarity.

I've got a bunch of low-end cards I'd like to list on ebay, mostly baseball. I'd prefer to ship them in small bubble mailers just for protection reasons, rather than PWE's. As I'm sure my fellow Canadians know, shipping a bubble mailer from Canada to the USA is like $12 minimum.

So my question is, if I list and sell a bunch of cards on eBay, would I be able to package them up, bring them with me over the border, and ship them FROM the USA where the shipping would be like 80% cheaper?

I go to the USA regularly as my fiancee lives there.

Thanks to anyone who may be able to provide insight!

Craig

Do you use bubble mailers? Do you know what the cost is? I’m looking at the 3.5x5 inch ones on Amazon to use.

It was about five years ago; I used #000 bubble mailers and I think it was about $2.50 USD each for postage. I supplied my own mailers a la bulk mailing place here in Winnipeg. I didn't really save more than about 20% in actual postage cost, but every shipment included online tracking (which would have added about $10 CAD per envelope mailing from home) and the buyers in Florida got their items in 2-3 days instead of 2 weeks. :)
