So how the hell do you get cards from epack so it doesn't cost a fortune. I started cracking a few packs on epack and got carried away. So I had a bunch of cards sent to COMC and that ended up costing $99.99 US to ship for something that should have been $20. And now I have a bunch more that I was going to ship direct from epack and it's saying it will be $68 US. For 220 cards. So is there anyway to get the shipping costs down or is this just a painful lesson?

I thought it was free to transfer your cards from ePack to COMC? How did it end up costing $100? If you mean to ship from COMC to you after the fact what option for shipping did you pick? Did you have a lot of really high value cards or something?

No matter where you ship it from - it will cost you a quarter for every card that send from epack - whether you transfer it to COMC or not - since it was not bought on that platform.

So if you're doing a set of Young Guns for a series - it will cost you $12.50 on top of your shipping charge to have it sent to you if you put it together on epack. Add in some toploaders for your higher value cards and the shipping can add up pretty quick. Some of the Jumbo Aviation Relics from Goodwin had a $1 per card charge due to their size and thickness.

It didn't used to be that way but once people were requesting their stuff en masse during 15-16 - the charge kicked in - as a way for COMC to get something out of their administration of the epack site

Nothing high end. I put the 19-20 silver base set together on epack plus some young guns. I transferred thinking it would be cheaper but I picked the cheapest shipping and it was still $99.99 for around 250 cards.
