Hey guys, I have recently sold a couple higher end cards over 70$ on ebay. On purchases over 50$ it is mandatory for insurance. So here's my question, what is the cheapest method of shipping to the U.S from Canada, that would protect both the seller and buyer? Are signatures required if a paypal claim was made? Or just DC? Thanks

The only thing that will require a signature is registered mail. The cost for this will be about $15.00 and you should ask for an AR card which will be returned to you so that you know he/she has received the item. This AR card cost $1.65(but well worth it in my opinion). In total it comes to $16.56 if the package is under 100 grams. This is the only thing that will give you full protection against pay pal charge backs as well.Express post will show it was delivered to the address but not to the person you are sending the item too.
Within Canada you can use express post and ask for a signature but not outside Canada.Good luck.

Thanks for your help, also, what is a AR card? So when I go to the post office just ask for registered mail to the U.S?

The AR card is something that attaches to the package and is returned to you after the person signs for the item. You will need to ask the post office for this when you ask for registered mail, and it cost an extra $1.65.If you do not ask for it you will not likely be ask by the post office if you want it.But in my opinion is well worth the extra money.Thanks,Winston.:)
