Show your rarest card

I guess i can add my own to this hall of greatness. I've been lucky to find these 3 Jamie Benn's this year. I tend to search Ebay on a pretty regular basis & was shocked that they popped up & also the fact i was lucky enoughy to win for a steal! I've only seen these one copies of each this whole year. 1 wasn't obtained through Ebay.

09-10 OPC Black 7/10 - a steal for $57 considering the Spectrum /35 has a BV $60

Got a few more Benn's in my PC i've only seen but once or twice...but those 3 there are definitely few & far between!
 
Do stickers count? I think they should.

I have only ever come across one copy of each of these; fortunately they all now reside in my collection.

This is the Foy side and it's the only one I've ever seen. Foy isn't widely collected, so it's quite possible that there are dozens of these sitting around in people's junk boxes, but I grabbed the first one that came along and that was it.

Hello,

I actually owned 2 of those Naslund Playbooks at one point. I ended up selling a copy to a set collector a few years ago, and I still have one sealed copy in my personal collection. I actually contemplated doing that set, but gave up on it. I still have like 6-7 sealed Playbooks in my PC.

02/03 BAP Signature Series Autographs Buybacks 1998 48 Larry Murphy

Hit the BIN on the first gold version of this card I saw some years ago on Ebay. Believe I've only ever seen one other copy of that one. Since numbers on these were never released, I had no way of knowing if a silver buyback existed until this one popped up some months ago. It looked like a silver, and when I confirmed that with the seller, I hit the BIN on this one too. This may not be a 1/1, but I bet it's close.

Even back in the day, these didn't show up very often, and I've seen way less than 10 of all of them. Just ask sedinfan, who has every card on the planet but would probably kill for the Canucks version of this card.


Wow. I just made a post without an Avs card in it. I'm so ashamed... but I'll have to think on it a little more. Or check out the cards in my signature. You don't see 05-06 Artifacts Gold 1/1s every day...

Not counting redemption copies that may have disappeared into PC
1 4 10 12 13 16 have all been listed on eBay. At the time, I knew 13 of the 16 HAD been redeemed.

I have #15 and 02.

Wow very nice stuff being shown off. If that Hull 500 goal club auto jersey is for sale I'm all over it! I love that Federov atomic refractor auto, I've been looking to pick up a card from that set forever!

I think that's fair to say. I still have a couple 98-99 ones on my wantlist. Luckily bought the Hejduk RC back in like '05 from Quincy. Even the Golds can be tough these days.

03-04 were the ones /25. Believe me, I would have showed a Deadmarsh if I had one. Silvers /50 and Bronzes /199 weren't much easier. 02-03 were also rare though, /100 but showing up only slightly more often. And the Silvers that year were unnumbered but I estimate about 150 of each.
