I was lucky I was able to grab all those cards before the big increase. I missed out on a nice Young Guns of his at a really good price (at the time) so I decided grab other RC's of his just to have them.

The same goes for Ovi. I don't have near as many of him as I do of Crosby, but do own his Parkhurst.

I pulled the pair out of a Parkhurst hot box back in the days. I'm glad to have kept them

Have been on the hunt for the base Ultra Crosby in BGS 9.5 form for a while, never could get one for a decent price. Anyways a combo of the base + gold medallion popped up on ebay and I was able to work out a deal with the seller.

I missed out on a couple nice raw base ones not long ago and since then they have seemed to really take off. :curse:

Yea they've really shot up in price. It kinda makes sense, they were SSP and actually really hard to pull from boxes back in the day.

I was offered one for $240 CDN but drug my feet.

One finished last week at $190 I believe but the sellers negative feedback was something to be desired.
His replies to the buyers told me everything I needed to know about the guy, which, imo, played a huge part in why he only got $190.
