,... from a BGS Slab!!! It only took me 5 minutes this time around.

Well, I guess if you are going to jump back in you might as well go head first with the most sought after card in the hobby right? Congrats, and how many does that make now? Just curious, what was the grade?

Was graded BGS 8.5, but kinda shocked as breaking it from the slab and looking carefully at it, I would be shocked it would grade an 8.5. I'll bet if I get a regrade, it will be a 9,... that's if I cared about grading.

I know I've had about 5 different copies of the Crosby #/99 from memory. One was pulled, the BGS 9.5, a 3clr one I traded for, and the 2clr one I used to trade for the 3clr one. Now this one. Maybe a couple more, but I remember those,...

Where did you loose the most points when they graded it? I wouldn't put much stock in the grading services any more. Too inconsistant for my liking.
 
Really SAD to see you back in the hobby Stephen...now I've got yet ANOTHER person to compete with when it comes to certain cards (sigh). Oh and that Sid the Kid card...well it's ONLY one of 99 and who IS he anyway???

LMK what you might be looking for out of this year's Cup and LMK should you pull any of the new Programme of Excellence and Draft Board cards. And finally, if you're ever in Edmonton, I'd be happy to say hi in person and buy you a beer!

What can you say... amazing card! That's a solid start to getting back into the hobby, no doubt about it.

LOL - hey! I will NOT touch the draft boards or the PoE this year. I believe I will be going for legends I like with the 05-06 RC look. I won't go for the set thanks to Carey Price, I'm not a fan.

I think I may think of doing a Cup set this coming year. I haven't thought of what, but I'll need the checklist to decide.

If I'm in Edmonton, you can buy me a beer, but if I've got time - show me a good steakhouse and i'll get you dinner. It's been fun to have someone to bounce ideas off of too. Appreciate it! :beer:

Yeah - so I spoke to the seller and he told me about that,... INSANE product. I would totally go buy some for kicks, but I have no idea what has already been pulled.

The card's corner were graded an 8,... I don't see any flaws. And I know I've got a pretty good eye when it comes to this stuff. The card was a BGS 8.5 because of that.
