I w a s just doing a search on eBay for 2007-08 UD Sweet Shot Signature Saves Ice Signings
Trying to find a card of Tony Esposito. I came up on this…

And then to my surprised to see another

Did this happen a lot with autographs?
It look’s like they put the auto on the card backwards.

I've seen some upside down (stickers where the auto is hard to decipher unless you're familiar with the player). But this is strange as why would you put a sticker on the back of the card. If it's not a sticker, maybe Tony was having fun with it or he started with the stack of cards upside down but that's funny. I don't have any from that year to compare but a couple of my Ice signings look hard signed.

Player probably signed the small piece of plastic and UD inserted it into the card backwards. Either that or player had so much to sign in front of him, he wasn't paying attention and signed away at anything without even looking.

Somewhere buried in the store I have an 8x10 toploader signed by Johnny Bower where he failed to take the photo out of it before signing.
