After spending about 2 weeks work traning in a photoshop (a live one, not the program ) in the woods of Finland i am back home in the real world.

Anyway, i've received some mail over the time but will wait to post that stuff. Today DHL dropped of a package, for which i've been waiting for about 6 weeks already. Bruce, who sent me these was silly enough to put the real value so i got loooooooooooooooooovely custom fee. Sweet!

So i present to you from the so-called, "Bruce's Pony Express Mail Service".

Beautiful card! Love the background baby blue. Couldn't have hit a better number either.


Number 8 -

2003-04 BAP Utimate Memorabilia Heroes V.Kharlamov / I.Kovalchuk 1 26/30
This would have been higher on the list if i already didn't have one of these. Great upgrade with both swatches being two color. Hard to beat that.


Number 7 -

2002-03 BAP Ultimate Memorabilia Numerology V.Kharlamov / I.Kovalchuk 19 27/40
The only single colored Kharlamov piece in todays mail. The Kovalchuk piece is 2 color + it has some minor stiching in yellow in the lower maroon part. Don't think you can see from the scan since i can hardly even see it in person.

Another interesting piece. Can't put my finger on where the swatch could possibly be from. It has two types of jersey on it. Number 1 of the print run.

THICK! That's a word to put it. The swatch pops out one or two millimeters out of the whole.

Absolutely stunning card. Might be my favorite out of the bunch. Love the design, perfect swatch and perfect numbering.

Another stunning card. I do believe this was the forth one on these boards. Have been too pricey for me so i was happy to have won this lot along with Bruce who took all Tretiaks and the KLM triple.

Nothing tops this card. The card i thought would be impossible when i started this Kharlamov mission last fall. Not so impossible after all.


Even tho i'm a bit pissed about the customs i would like to give a big thanks to Bruce (meatiecalgary or however your name is spelt ) for sharing the lot and shipping em to me after you got ALOT of Paypal funds...Thief.

Vic - those are awesome! Congrats on 10 great cards.

My only disppointment with ITG is that they have a hard time finding more fresh pictures. 9 of the 10 you posted prominently feature the same pic.

Hopefully we'll see them find some new Kharlamov pics in the future for you to share with us.

Theres a tough choice to be made when declaring value. If a package is marked $10 you save a ton on fees in the end, but what if the package is lost or destroyed? Your package is suddenly worth only $10 when in reality you have way more into it. Congrats!

I actually think that Country of Origin was mine at one point, as me and my buddy pulled two golds and a silver of that card. I believe we had 1/5 and 5/5 in the gold version, though I could be mistaken.

And I indeed do agree about the picture situtiation, Hard to believe that the folks at ITG weren't able to find new pictures of him. Tho they do have several different ones in ITG International Ice. Heck, i'd think it would be worse if there weren't ANY cards at all of him.
