Slow Mail from Eastern Canada?

This is now the second item not received case I received against me in the last week. Both sent to BC, both shipped on January 11th. 42$US down the drain, thanks to Canada Post. :|:|:|

For whatever reason items I have shipped lately to Michigan specifically are taking longer than usual. The last few have taken a month or more and one I had to refund the buyer $32 as it never arrived.

Are you writing the address on your packages with your hands, or printing them? Machines are used to scan the addresses in the sorting facilities.
I'm just trying to understand.

slow mail every where lately. Had 2 letters from Vancouver to Calgary take 3 weeks.

At the postal outlet I go to, they have a number on the counter for customers to call about the slow service since they have had so many upset customers lately.

I'm still waiting on an eBay order from Montreal that was shipped with tracking back on Jan 9th. Not to mention a couple of Group Break orders that are bordering on 2 weeks now from Ontario.

A quick follow-up note, my Tracked item did finally arrive back on Feb 9th. No explanation was given at all for the delay. I notified the seller, who then took action with CP about a week prior.

And my GB orders only took 3.5 weeks to arrive.

Continue the stellar work Canada Post :|:foottap::|:foottap:

I just refunded a customer in B.C. $24 US. Totally out of my control. One other customer in B.C. is still waiting (shipped Jan. 22), so that could be another refund if bubble envelope doesn't arrive soon.

I live in BC and ship from eastern Canada on a regular basis including two packages this week. No delay whatsoever, same as always. Ive had over 1500 packages shipped to me since 2005 from all over the world and only twice have I not received the item I purchased. The postal service isn't that bad. So much scamming of non tracked packages going on these days. I completely understand why people don't want to sell non tracked packages any more. As soon as they took away the sellers right to all types of feedback on the buyer it became a charge back free for all online. Ebay doesn't care unless it effects their bottom line. And the profits keep rolling in.....

UPDATE: Both bubble envelopes have arrived in B.C. The customer I had refunded offered to send me payment again, but I told him not to worry about it and thanked him for his honesty.
