You could....
1)Put those into your Stars p.c.(sell/trade the doubles) and then stop collecting any Penguins cards he gets. I'm assuming, they will have some of his cards with him being in a Stars jersey/card indicating he plays for the Stars in some of the up coming releases so still collect those.

2)If you're a fan of his, I would still continue collecting his cards, even if he plays for a different team.

Nice collection, sucks when you favorite player gets traded, but it pretty much happens to everyone. I would be interested in one of your Emblem of Endorsement if you decide to move them.

I'd keep them and build more while he's a Penguin. I started Andrew Ladd when he was a rookie in Carolina (I'm a Caniac), but actually enjoy collecting his cards at each city he plays.

Sorry to hear your fav player got traded, especially when you've invested all that time and moula on him.
If you bought them all because of the idea of just having all his cards or because the patch was so sick you had to have it, I'd recommend selling them. The chance you get a good return is there as he has tons of talent and will be playing with Crosby. If they win the cup this year, his cards will be worth even more. The quicker you sell them, the better off you'll feel.

If you collect the player because he is your favorite player, then just keep getting all his sweet cards.

Yep, happens. Not many 20 years with one team Yzermans left. Heck, even Modano left after 20 years with the Stars. Free agency and business nature of sports now.

If you collected him because you liked him, then continue. Or start a new collection. Just have fun doing whatever you decide! :D

Yeah that sucks man, I feel your pain. But all of the advice listed above really boils down to WHY you collected Neal in the first place. That answer will ultimately determine your next actions. Good luck!

Consolidate, friend!

It's a whole different challenge and I found surprising amounts of fun with it when Naslund left Vancouver.

you're a Neal fan right? so keep collecting Neal.

Or if you're a big Stars fan and only collected him because he was a Stars prospect then try trading with a Pens fan for Goligoski cards if that interests you. You could do well selling them too if you don't mind listing them.

The final decision will be up to you. Good luck whichever way you go.

This is why I never, ever collect a player based on the team he plays for and always collect someone b/c I like the player. But as a couple of people have said Neal with thrive in pittsburgh and have unlimited potential as one of the best young power forwards in the game.

You knew this day would come.

Probably didn't know it would come so soon, but you had to realize that eventually, at SOME point, Neal would be on a different team.

I say stick to it! He's a great young player, and it's fun to have a nice collection with varying teams, colours, etc. If he's your favourite player, who cares where he plays?
