Some advice needed

As many of you are aware I pulled a Todd Bertuzzi Gold Emblem 1/1 from ITGU last year. Well, I've held onto it and I've actually become quite attatched to it LOL. Well, now I'm being offered a substantial amount of cash for it. I could definately use the money but I would also hate to see the card go. Any opinions and advice about the situation would be helpful. Thanks :)

heck cj, you could probably get a nice lecavalier game used jersey for what you sell it for. A real one - should not be more than $700/$800. I figure you are selling the 'tuzzi for around $600.

CJ, I've got to agree with Bruce. There's got to be something amazing out there you could turn the Bert into. And if you youself are admiting that the offer is for a 'substantial amount' of money, you must be half sold on the idea already.

I wish it were that much, but no. Bertuzzi isn't exactly high on everyone's list right now. I'm being offered 4 c-notes for it.
 
4 c-notes for a player that, even though is the best power forward in the game, is universally despised, and is technically still under suspension from the game? Jump at it...
 
Um forsberg for $180????
I do not think I have seen any shield from Premier #1/1 sell for that.
Maybe a Gold Label - where there are 9 different #1/1's - but not this product.

Mark C - Love that one as well - and we all know where Beke's is don't we???? Doin the ape love dance - LOL!!!

cj - I think that $400 is low as far as if hockey were being played - but under the current conditions it is probably fair. The only other thing you may do - is see if a 'Tuzzi collector with some high end cards wants to give you $800/$1,000 in BV for it.
Things you could easily turn for more than the 4 C notes.

It's a Tuzzi collector from Beckett who's offerin that much for it. I already checked his trade page and he doesn't have much. *sigh* I'm at a loss..

If you like the card, dont give it up. You will never get it back...

If you dont like it that much, 4 c-notes is pretty good. I have picked up my last 4 modano Ultimate 1/1s in the 75-125 range

Like most have already stated, to me it's a no-brainer. With the money you get from the card you can pick some either a couple very nice Lecavalier items , or one really awesome piece. Ask yourself this, would you trade the Bertuzzi for what you will buy with the money? If so, then I guess you have your answer. If not, well then back to the drawing board.
 
The thing is guys, there are so many insane Vinny collectors out there *coughmyselfcoughlecavalier4coughdredjawcoughcarloscoughihateredemptions) that even if I used the cash to go after one of his like dozen or so cards from UD Ultimate, I probably won't be able to get many, and while I would get some for the cash, probably not enough to buy any 1/1's that may pop up. *sigh* :(
 
I'll chime in here...

I would personally take that deal and run. The $400 can go a long way picking up a few Ultimates at least. Plus, its a resonable price anyways. If you threw it on ebay I couldnt imagine it going *MUCH* higher if at all. If he can do $400 + a nice card with BV of $100 or something take it and run.

Just my 2 cents

Oh and are their really 12 Vinnys from Ultimate? arghh
 
400 doesnt sound too bad, but you'll never see the card again (unless the next owners decide to Ebay it). it's a coin toss.

Sorry I can't really give ya any advise! :( Seeing as the offer seems pretty fair. However, as it's been stated. If Hockey was going on and no suspension. IMO as well the offer would be a little more!

Anyways, congrats on reaching 100 Feedback, BTW! :D
