Well... even though he was dubbed King Richard while in a Canucks uniform, and is widely considered the third best goalie in Canucks history (behind Luongo and Kirk McLean), he did play for a few other teams... most notably the team that drafted him, the Quebec Nordiques...

... and his last NHL team, the Hartford Whalers...

He did also play for the Islanders, or at least had rights with the Islanders, but I've never once seen a picture of him in Isles colours. Notice he wasn't #35 in his early career or late career. I guess someone on the Isles or Canucks was #30 when he signed on, and someone else must have been #35 for the Whalers... kinda odd, eh?

Bruce, those are absolute beauties. I love the old Quebec sweater, very sweet.:)

I could look at your boy's signature all day long, it is just masterful. Now if we could only teach these young kids to sign with such grace.

Great pics

Nice photos Bruce!

Here is a card I made a few months ago

He played 2 games with the Isles and there are no photos that I could find

He only played 6 with the Great Whale :)

Now THAT is a cool card... wish I could get that produced so I could get him to sign one... that would be neat.
