Some Oilers Love President's Choice Style from the Expo!

The rain today afforded me the opportunity to sneak away from being the boss and check out the Expo. Met a fellow member there to complete a trade (I'll let him post the spoils and not steal his thunder, lol.). Stopped off at the great folks at President's Choice and did a little business. Picked up a killer Made to Order to add to my collection, some other odds and ends, and saw some nice swag in their cases I just had to have. The gang at President's Choice are doing it up right I have to say! Thanks Brian, Dan! That being said here are some of the highlights. I think I might have cleaned them out of their Gretzky inventory for the immediate future, lol, oops. Enjoy, and hope those who make it enjoy the Toronto Sportscard Expo!

How about a uncut 1 of only 1 Dynasty Oilers sheet with the Great One in the center? :drool:



And just so nobody took the sheet and created other 1 of 1's of the original Brian did this to the back of the sheet. What a piece of Oilers history! :drool:

That Gretzky MTO is awesome! I see that those have disappeared from the Presidents Choice site now. Pretty hard to beat game used Gretzky Oiler gear like that. It will be interesting to see how many of those get made considering there are different pics on each one. :)
 
Great meeting you today Mike! I'll be posting a show and tell thread early next week to give you full props for our trade. Congrats on the pickups today. You definitely know how to pick'em!

Exactly why I had to have it. Very unique piece with all the main role players in that Oilers Dynasty! :)

I know Brian mentioned some memorabilia was very limited, not surprised Gretzky's was among those. And yes, very curious to see how some of the other MTO's look once they roll out to their owners. :beer:

I was curious if it was from the center logo, never had a chance to inquire with Brian being as busy as he was. I agree, this MTOis huge for my collection, thank you, I'm excited to own it! :beer:

It was indeed a pleasure to meet and chat seeing as how we've made a few great trades in the last 2-3 weeks, lol. Loving your sig by the way. That card I gave up yesterday...was hard, lol. Enjoy amigo! :beer:

Brian and the gang were just setting up and when I saw those two McDavid's..., had to have them. They cut that 'SUPER' perfectly into that card. It's awesome in hand. :)

Such great cards Mike, please keep showing what you pull in. I've ordered an Iginla MTO, can't come soon enough! That uncut sheet is absolutely amazing.

I hope you get the best possible Iginla, I know Brian is really trying his best to make these pieces something special for us all. As for showing what I pull in, I have 76 cards currently from the President's Choice site and the Expo PC booth. I have posted a few but a lot I have just tucked away. :) But here's a couple really rare pieces, just because you asked. :D



 
Very nice stuff Mike! As Ryan said, the Gretz MTO is unbelievable...

I saw SBK Cards (the supply guy on aisle 400 by the corporate area) had magazine top loaders... 130 pt for a 9" x 12" or some such... he has plastic sleeves that size too. Gotta protect that bad boy!

I actually dropped by and picked up a magazine top loader to get this 'bad boy' home but I am hoping to find something long term to store it and display it. The gentleman at that booth didn't have a sleeve to go with it. I am down there today so I will put it on my list of things to look for. :) Thanks for the comments all! :beer: -Mike
