Hello all, first of all, sorry this isn't a Between the Pipes break! Seems to be the only thing going on right now. Second of all, I just want to say that I'm really digging this forum so far. Everyone seems to be pretty friendly and knowledgeable about the hobby (have not had very many "Trade you my Daigle collection for your Stamkos RC's" yet)
Anyways, as some of you may know, I collect serial numbered Senators cards. Here's a few recent pickups!
09-10 OPC Retro Rainbow Mike Comrie /100
It's been a while since I nabbed a card from this set. I believe it narrows the wantlist down to 5 or 6 cards, some of which I've only seen a few copies of. Of course, all the ones I have seem to pop up on ebay regularly.
08-09 SPA Limiteds Jason Spezza and Daniel Alfredsson /100
A couple nice additions to my 08-09 SPA set. I'm down to just needing a couple of the Limiteds of the SPA Notables SP's.
09-10 MVP Gold /100 and Super Script /25 Geoff Kinrade
09-10 SPx Spectrum Geoff Kinrade /25
I'll be honest. I'm not really sure who Geoff Kinrade is. And the 09-10 SPx set is one of the uglier ones I've seen in recent memory.
09-10 UD Rookie Breakouts Erik Karlsson /100
I've always been a big fan of UD's die-cut cards, and was happy to add this one to the PC at a low price. However, it brings to light my severe lack of Karlsson cards, as this is the only one I've picked up so far!
08-09 BAP Player's Club Alex Auld /15
A nice low-numbered card of a guy who was relatively dependable during his tenure here.
08-09 Black Diamond Gold Ilya Zubov /10
08-09 BAP Player's Club Ilya Zubov /10
08-09 Artifacts Ilya Zubov /5
Always happy to add a low-numbered RC into the PC; even happier to add three! I'm sure I have about 10 more Artifacts parallels to pick up, but I'm happy to have picked up one of the hardest ones.
09-10 Upper Deck Exclusives Peter Regin /100
09-10 Upper Deck HG Peter Regin /10
Very very very happy to knock these two off the wantlist. The Upper Deck series has always been one of my favourites and I love picking up the parallels from this set. I've been surprisingly slow on the Exclusives parallels though, and as a result, have more HG's than Exclusives.
